Virginia Beach Surf Art Expo FAQs

Always held on Memorial Day Weekend, the last full weekend in May on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-6pm and Monday from 10am – 5pm.

No, the entire event is free and open to the public.

Artists exhibit on the boardwalk on 3rd through 7th Street in Virginia Beach.

Due to the tourism area we are in, there is no free parking. We have several options for our guests:

Municipal Parking Lots. Parking fees average $10.00 – $20.00 at the municipal lots.  Municipal lots walking distance to the VB Surf Art Expo are located at 2nd Street, Rudee Loop, and 4th Street.  For more information on resort parking in the Municipal Lots, go here:

Municipal Garage Parking is also available. The 9th Street Garage is a quick walk to the boardwalk for the VB Surf Art Expo. For more information on resort Garage Parking, go here:
